This feature allows several channels (ports) on the same node to be synchronized.
This makes the node only transmit on one of the channels at a time and makes it not
transmit if any of the channels are detecting data. This is useful if you are
putting several modems on a single frequency or on nearby frequencies where transmitting
would stop Rx data on the other channel.
All ports on the node that are set to "s" with the MODE
command are synchronised.
The timing parameters are optimized for multimode user access ports and cannot be
changed at the moment. All ports with the "s"-flag set are barred against each
other. A hardware DCD conjunction may, but does not need to be removed. It is not possible
to define more than one group of synchronized channels.
