| On the Merrimack (east) end of Rt 101A in Amherst, there are several strip malls. Each has a dozen or so storefronts and a bunch of offices. | ||

| This grouping of stores is just west of Heritage Place. | ||

||

||
| Next, heading west on Rt 101A, is Amherst Plaza | ||

| Then there is this huge Antiques store. | ||

| We're still heading west down Rt 101A. This is next on the left. More stores and a pastry shop (Fredericks) that is one of two that are in Amherst and are legendary in the region. | ||

| After the pastry shop and party store I went south of Rt 101A into an area that has many small businesses, business and office parks, and both light and heavy industry. | ||
