This was the first store I'd visited. This store opened in June? I think and was about 13 hours from my
house. My wife and I were major Apple fans by this time and were eager to see what Jobs and company had
come up with. We had no information about when any stores would open in New England. When my employer
had a forced shut-down over Independance Day week we decided that a trip to Washington DC wouldn't hurt
the kids and we had nothing else planned.

The Tyson's Corner mall is not on the Washington DC metro system but is a pretty easy 15 minute drive
from the capitol (not during rush hour). We made it our business to go to the store the first night
we were in town which happened to be a Monday.
